Applications for the Ontario Small Business Support Grants are now open. This vital program will provide eligible businesses with a one-time grant and provide much needed support to help get them through these challenging times.

• Small businesses impacted by necessary public health measures require additional support so they can continue serving their communities and employing people in Ontario once COVID-19 is behind us.
   
• If you’re a small business owner facing challenges as a result of COVID-19, you may qualify for the new Ontario Small Business Support Grant, a one-time grant up to $20,000 from the Government of Ontario.
   
• Each small business will be able to use the support in whatever way makes the most sense for their individual business. For example, some businesses could need support paying employee wages or rent, while others could need support maintaining their inventory.
   
• Eligible small business owners that are expected to experience a minimum 20 per cent decline in revenue may qualify for this grant to help navigate this challenging period.

• Are required to close or restrict services subject to the Provincewide Shutdown effective 12:01 a.m. on December 26, 2020;
   
• Have 100 employees or fewer at the enterprise level; and
   
• Have experienced a minimum of 20 per cent revenue decline in April 2020 compared to April 2019.
   
• New businesses established since April 2019 will also be eligible provided they meet the other eligibility criteria.
