Upcoming Opportunities

Classroom Visits

Dartmouth’s diversely talented teaching faculty can learn a great deal from one another, even (or especially!) while teaching remotely. Interested in visiting a colleague’s class or having someone visit yours? Get started with DCAL’s simple framework for visiting colleagues' classes, or let us know by e-mail that you’re interested and we’ll help to match you up. Not for evaluation purposes, these visits are intended for sharing and learning while building community around teaching.

Workshops, Training, and Events

DCAL's Future Faculty Teaching Series will meet on Thursdays on Zoom, 1:30-3:30pm, starting Jan 21.  The purpose of this workshop series is to introduce graduate students and postdocs to educational literature, basic elements of course design, and different instructional methods. Participants will also have a chance to practice teaching and to evaluate teaching by others.

For more info or to register, click here by Jan. 18.
