Frederick County to Announce Expanded COVID Vaccination Eligiblity

Breaking News! Starting tomorrow, January 15, 2021, Frederick County will be expanding COVID vaccination eligibility to include everyone 75 years of age and older. We expect eligibility to be further expanded on January 18 to include:

Residents in assisted living, independent living, developmental disabilities/behavioral health group homes, and other congregate facilities
Continuity of government vaccinations
K-12 teachers educators, support staff, and daycare providers

Starting on the morning of January 15, you can sign up online here.

Keep in mind that the eligibility rules will probably be changing frequently, so it's important to check the Frederick County Health Department website daily.

Note that there are two vaccination sites; it's important to remember which one you sign up for:

Scott Key Center, 1050 Rocky Springs Rd, Frederick, MD 21702
Butterfly Ridge Elementary School, 601 Contender Way, Frederick, MD 21703

We still have no indication whether we will be receiving COVID-19 vaccines for administration through our office, so signing up for vaccination through the Frederick County Health Department is advised.
