Today we are beginning a study of Paul's letter to the Colossians.  It is a beautiful, often poeticaly written, letter. Because Christ is all in all, we have reason for gratitude.
In an introduction to this epistle, N.T. Wright says, "Paul is telling [the Colossians] about thanksgiving.  He's also telling them about thanks-living, about how to live on the basis of being grateful people. Thankful to God in everything, despite everything. Thankful because of what God has done. Thankful because of what God will do. Thankful in the present to be part of the family that called Jesus Lord."

Ambrosio Family Updates
From Jill VanMilligan
Anoy and Etinindo both have doctors appointments on Wednesday this coming week. Thanks to those who helped with ideas for daycare for Anoy. We have some great options but need to check with the doctor this week to make sure his immunizations are up to the required standards here. We went up Big Cottonwood Canyon Sunday afternoon to see all the snow. There is not as much as we are used to but the size of the snow banks impressed Aissa!

January Series
Calvin University
The January Series cultivates deep thought and conversations about important issues of the day in order to inspire cultural renewal and make us better global citizens in God's world. These online lectures take place from Monday - Friday at 10:30 AM MDT.  Each is available to watch on demand for the remainder of the day.  There are some great learning opportunities here.
