Before giving you an update on our water tank construction and vegetable planting, here are three wonderful things to share.
*First*, we've started our fourth year at Bethany Pre and Primary School. With 42 new students, we now provide education for 300 children, 155 girls and 145 boys. We are so grateful to the donors who are sponsoring one or more children. This year we plan to increase student-sponsor communication and continue to provide students' grades to their sponsors. I will be at the school March 17-31 and will bring sponsors' greetings to the children.

*Second*, the Ojung'u Memorial Scholarship Fund allowed us to support the tuition of the 15 students pictured above. See them up close HERE.
Because many of our students must share textbooks, our headmaster asked if the Memorial Fund could be used to purchase more books. For more details on the number and cost of these books, click on the link below.
Textbooks are paramount to improving the student's education. We would greatly appreciate your donation to this cause.

*Third*, to further support our school, Emmanuel has started a safari company in partnership with his friend Ishmail, who has many years of safari experience. I can vouch for both of them personally.

The water storage tank is in the final stages of being cemented, cleaned, and piped. We will be ready for the rains, thanks to the generosity of donors like you.

Right now, it's planting season in Tanzania. We've serviced the school tractor and will soon begin sowing seeds to grow our school crops of beans and corn.
