Short deadlines

CROWN UK Fund

Grants of up to £20,000 are available for Black-led organisations and projects tackling barriers to progress for women and girls in the Black community and empowering future generations.  Projects will address at least one of the following:

  • Appearance based prejudice and discrimination

  • Education and vocational training

  • Emotional or Psychological health

  • Empowerment

  • Individual growth and success

  • Leadership and career planning

  • Mentorship

  • Advocacy

The Fore

Unrestricted grants of up to £30,000 (over 1 – 3 years) are available for registered charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs) and Community Benefit Societies (CBS) with an annual income of less than £500,000.  The funding will have a transformational impact on the organisation.  This could include improving sustainability, efficiency, growing significantly or enabling a major step forward of some kind.  The deadline for applications is Mon 25th January.  For more information, please click the button below.


Local Connections Fund

Grants of £300 - £2,500 are available for small organisations to bring people together, reduce loneliness, and build connections in the local community. The deadline for applications will be Tues 26th January.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Mrs Smith and Mount Trust

Grants are available to registered charities working in the areas of mental health, homelessness, and health in the community, to help people become independent and / or improve their quality of life.  The grants are available in two streams:

  • The Mount Trust Fund - Grants of up to £20,000 (over two or more years) are available for larger charities.  Most grants are no more than £5,000. 

  • The Mrs Smith Fund - Block grants to registered charities working with individuals in need.  These can be used for the purchase of household furnishing, equipment and baby items and clothing.

A B Charitable Trust

Grants of up to £20,000 are available for registered charities who work to defend human rights and promote respect for vulnerable individuals.  Projects should address at least one of the following:

  • Migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.

  • Criminal justice and penal reform.

  • Human rights, particularly access to justice.

Norfolk County Council Arts Project Fund

Grants of up to £500 are available for community organisations to develop and promote Arts activities and event.  Priority will be shown to projects that demonstrate significant community impact and most closely fulfil the Norfolk County Council Strategic Priorities and Arts Policy objectives.  The deadline for applications is Sun 31st January.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Coming Soon

East Coast Community Fund (Specific Areas)

Grants are available for projects strengthening the coastal communities of North Norfolk Coast (This also includes some of the West Norfolk Coast).  Projects should be aimed at supporting communities to recover from the pandemic, including organisations which:

  • Provide essential support and services to directly facilitate in the recovery efforts from COVID-19.

  • Have lost significant core income over the past few months and request funding to recover quicker financially.

There are two levels of grants:

  • Small Grants - £1,000 and £5,000.

  • Main Grants - £5,001 and £50,000.

Anglian Water Positive Difference Fund

Grants of up to £10,000 are available for constituted community groups supporting vulnerable, isolated, and older people during the pandemic.  The funding can be used to cover core and capital costs, as well as continuing projects that are proven to run well.  The deadline for applications is Fri 5th February.  For more information, please click the button below. 

 

D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust

Grants of £500 - £5,000 are available to registered charities with a project that falls into one of the following:

  • The advancement of the arts.

  • Health and medical welfare.

  • Environmental protection or improvement.

PRS Foundation

Grants of up to £10,000 are available for not-for-profit organisations that support, sustain, and grow new music infrastructure.  Projects must involve the creation, performance and promotion of new music and enable songwriters, composers, artists, bands, and performers of all backgrounds to develop creatively and professionally. The North Norfolk Sustainable Communities Fund

Grants of up to £15,000 are available projects that help communities in North Norfolk to improve their environmental, social, and economic wellbeing.  Potential applicants are strongly advised to contact Sonia Shuter on 01263 516173 to discuss their proposal before applying.  To be considered at the next funding panel, the deadline for applications is Mon 15th February. Canoe Foundation

Grants of £500 - £10,000 are available for projects that improve the accessibility and availability of waterways and canoeing facilities and protect the natural environment.  Projects should be by or in partnership with local paddle sport groups who will continue to support the use of the improvements on an ongoing basis.  The deadline for applications is Sun 28th February.  For more information, please click the button below.  

 

Armed Forces Day Grant

Grants of up to £10,000 are available to host an Armed Forces Day event taking place within two weeks of Armed Forces Day (26th June).  The grant will cover up to 50% of the total project cost.  The event should:

  • Have 'Armed Forces' in the event title.

  • Be relevant to today's serving Armed Forces.

  • Have free access to members of the 'Armed Forces Family'.

  • Not be centred around fundraising or recruitment.

Get Fishing Fund

Grants of up to £5,000 are available for projects which encourage more people to start, or return to, fishing. Applications are welcomed from angling clubs, fisheries, charities, schools, and local authorities.   Activity that is delivered as a result of receiving funding must be delivered on freshwater fisheries where angling requires a fishing licence.  The deadline for applications is Fri 12th March.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Help the Homeless Grants

Grants of up to £5,000 are available to cover the capital costs of projects helping people experiencing homelessness to return to the community and resume a normal life.  The deadline for applications is Mon 15th March.  For more information, please click the button below. 


Association of Independent Museums Grants

The following grants are available from the Association of Independent Museums:

  • Collections Care Audits – Grants of up to £1,100 (plus travel and VAT if required) to cover the costs of an accredited conservator undertaking a care audit.  The deadline for applications is 31st March.  

  • Collections Care Scheme – Grants of up to £10,000 are available to develop a more sustainable approach to the conservation and management of collections through improvements to collections care within their museum.  

  • Remedial Conservation Scheme – Grants of £10,000 to conserve objects within the museums collection.  The object does not have to be the most at risk, but applicants will be expected to demonstrate why it has been chosen to be conserved.

Mick George Sport Fund

Grants of £500 - £1,500 are available for capital community sports projects or developments that are open to the public.  (This includes, but is not limited to, changing room improvements, clubhouse renovations and facility management equipment).  The deadline for applications is Thurs 15th April.  For more information, please click the button below.

LTR Framework Agreement for LAC/SEN

Deadline: Mon 15th March
Norfolk County Council Children's Services wishes to appoint Service Providers to a Light Touch Regime (LTR) Framework Agreement for the provision of residential care and/or education services, day school services for Looked After Child, children at risk of being Looked After and/or children with special educational needs (SEN) either with or without a Statement.

 

Application for Adult Residential and Nursing Care Framework

This is an application process for appointment to the Norfolk County Council Open Framework agreement for adult residential and nursing care homes. By signing up to the framework, providers are confirming that they want to work with Norfolk County Council on the terms stated in the agreement.  The Framework Agreement will last for five years with an option to extend by a further five years.   
    

Assessment, Therapy and Family Support Framework

Norfolk County Council Children's Services wish to re-open the framework for the provision of assessment, therapy, and family support services.  Key services/provision areas in scope are detailed in the service specification, but we would expect providers to be adaptable and flexible to develop services/provisions as required. This is the 5th round of applications and the framework will remain open for new applications.     

 

Framework Agreement for Tutors to Children and Young People

Norfolk County Council wishes to procure an open framework with a range of providers delivering face to face and on-line tutorial services. The framework will be for 5 years, with the option to extend for up to a further 5 years, subject to agreement of Norfolk County Council with the service providers.     
 
         

Public Health Primary Care Contract

Applications are invited to deliver primary care services (formerly called local enhanced services), which have been divided into the following lots:              

  • Lot 1A – NHS Healthcheck Programme: the identification and invitation of the eligible population.             

  • Lot 1B – NHS Healthcheck Programme: delivery of the NHS Health Check (including Standard Operating Procedures).         

  • Lot 1C – NHS Healthcheck Programme: Community Records Update.             

  • Lot 2A – National Chlamydia Screening Programme, Emergency Hormone Contraception (EHC) and Pregnancy Testing.             

  • Lot 2B – Fitting and management of contraceptive implants and intrauterine devices (IUD) / Intrauterine Systems (IUS).             

  • Lot 3A – Stop Smoking service provision.             

  • Lot 3B – Supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).             

  • Lot 4 – No longer available for tender.            

  • Lot 5 - Healthy Start Vitamins.         

Providers can apply for one or any combination of Lots.

Sheringham Shoal (Specific Areas)

Grants of over £5,000 are available to projects in North Norfolk or Wells-next-the-Sea which focus on one or more of the following:

  • To contribute to reducing climate change.

  • To assist the sustainability of North Norfolk communities by stimulating their own ability to solve issues and create opportunities, for example by providing educational or community business facilities.

  • To have a marine environment or marine safety focus.

  • To promote environmental sensitivity, sustainability, or the benefits of renewable energy.

  • To contribute to education or employment in the renewable energy industry or related arenas through access to courses and community activities.

BlueSpark Foundation Grants

Grants of up to £5,000 are available for projects improving the education and development of children and young people through educational, cultural, sporting, or other activities.  Applications are welcome at any time. For more information, please click the button below.  


Community at Heart Lottery (Broadland)

Not-for-profit organisations based in or covering Broadland can register to be a “Good Cause” in Broadland’s Community at Heart Lottery.  Lottery tickets are £1, and 50% of their cost is donated to the good cause chosen by the purchaser.  For more information, please click the button below.
