World Human Rights Day was celebrated in full bloom with the glorious campaign and successfully in the regions too, last but not the least 2 SWGs started to ensure the sustainability of our previous work while setting achievable outcomes.

We engaged with you, our beloved members through ITM, SCORP Sundays and Webinars

You can find the detailed work done by the amazing SCORP team below!

With this hope to achieve a better world where no right and no ones right is forgotten.

See you next month!

December Updates

The month of December was mainly dedicated for the work on the policy proposals for the upcoming March Meeting. A dedicated small working group worked on updating the Peace and Health policy document and, throughout the process, conducted an open space consultations with the general members to guide the update of the policy (minutes of the open space can be accessed here).

Further on, IFMSA signed a [joint statement] on the impact of the European Pact on Migration and Asylum on children in migration. IFMSA was also invited to be a panelist in a webinar by IPPNW discussing the role of healthcare workers in nuclear disarmament which is to be held on the 21st of January (check further details through this link) and preparations started.

HRMP Toolkit SWG started its activity in late December with its distinguished 7 members from all over the world to shape the outlines of HRMP and help the workshop coordinators and NMOs conduct their HRMPs smoothly. The SWG has completed reviewing the previous HRMP reports and brainstormed on the Items that will be included in the toolkit. Something great is being cooked in the upcoming month. Stay tuned!
The SWG on ITHRE Standardisation had the first OLM on the 21st of December and have been working since this date. After thorough discussions and brainstorming, we finalised our work procedure and delegated tasks. We created a follow-up form that was sent to the participants of the first ITHRE, nearly 6 months after their final session. The first post-evaluation results are analyzed and a report is in the making that will enable us to re-examine the educational content of the course. At the same time, we are working on defining the workshop through outlines and indicators. The following weeks will include re-defining some sessions, creating regulations' proposal for the ITHRE as well as guidelines on the use of ITHRE.
