Celebrate our 130th anniversary virtually Feb. 4 with Nellie Bly and Heinz History Center!
The Women's Press Club of Pittsburgh is excited to announce our 130th anniversary celebration with Heinz History Center! The virtual event is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4 via Zoom.

Dr. Candi Carter Olson of Utah State University will talk about Nellie Bly and how her legacy fits in with other trailblazing Pittsburgh women in journalism. A friend of the press club, Dr. Carter Olson wrote her 2013 dissertation earning her Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh about the history of Women's Press Club of Pittsburgh. 

We'll also have a special guest! More information on the registration page or the Facebook event page.
 

Registration is free, but requested in advance, on Heinz History Center's website. See you there!
