Welcome to A New Year Hello volunteers! As we make our way into a brighter 2021, we'd like to invite you to join us in celebrating the mighty legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. His message and mission of hope and unity resonate deeply with all of us at BTGCP, now more than ever. We've included links to a number of ways you can participate, and encourage you to join Marin City's 34th virtual commemoration of the MLK's life and legacy. Dr. King spent his life in service, so what better way to start your year than to honor him in the spirit of volunteerism!
And in keeping with the theme of unity, you are also invited to a virtual community meeting providing an update on the unification of the Bayside MLK and Willow Creek Academy school communities. Join the discussion and learn what the plans are for this exciting next chapter for our schools in the SMCSD District.
Passing the Torch Virtual Celebration
The theme of the 34th commemoration of the life and legacy of MLK is "Passing the Torch". The event is a collaboration between the Marin City Community Services District and other key community partners. Hosted by the amazing Paul Austin, the event is full of inspiration and empowerment and will celebrate some of the students and staff of Bayside MLK, Willow Creek Academy and Bridge the Gap College Prep!
