The role of philanthropy in defeating COVID-19 is evolving and the needs are as great as ever. While philanthropists are eager to resume a "normal funding strategy", there are still critical gaps in our nation's response even with vaccines now available. Low-income communities and communities of color will continue to struggle to control infections and receive adequate medical care because of healthcare inequities and systemic racism. Philanthropists must continue to play a critical role in ensuring our fight against COVID-19 is an equitable one.
During this discussion, hear firsthand about the challenges facing underserved communities, and how philanthropists are addressing:
- Unfunded critical needs at the national, state and community level.
- The need for disruptive philanthropy that moves the needle in a significant way.
Who should attend? Individual donors, family offices, foundations and financial advisors who want to learn more about the urgent and evolving needs of the COVID-19 pandemic.
