Dear <<First Name>>,
What a time to be alive.
It would seem like 2021 has started off with a lot of activity - from extended lockdown in Manitoba, to the socio-political turmoil in the US - there is a lot to be concerned about.
At the same time, there is a lot to be grateful for. The unwavering work of healthcare workers and scientists. A relatively secure food supply. Pockets of people doing good, here and there.
In times of turbulence, it is easy to fall off the tracks, get lost in despair, or blinded by outrage. It is for times like these, that we practise. It is in times like these, that we practise.
We launched our first online course A Bridge Between: Sound as an Object of Meditation this year. It is here for you when you ready to begin.
We continue to offer livestream yoga classes, updating the schedule by the month to stay agile with the times. Register here.
We are also proud to offer a 28-day online meditation immersion (Jan 4-31), Waking Up With Mindfulness, a complimentary offering made possible by the financial support of the Manitoba government’s Safe At Home program. Find it here.
If you are waiting for the “right time” to begin a practice, know this: you will never be fully ready. There is no perfect “right time.” Instead, the best time to begin or recommit to practice is simply right now.
“See” you on the mat / meditation cushion,
Adrienne
