Youth Mental Health First Aid.

A workshop for parents and adults who work with kids aged 12-18. Any adult, parent or not, is welcome.

• Learn the common mental health concerns for youth and young adults.
• Learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health and substance abuse problems.
• Learn what you can do.

Saturday. January 16. 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
Virtual Zoom Workshop.
Advance registration required.
Free. All participants get a $20 gas card.
Limited to 10 participants.

The workshop will be facilitated by Lander Bachert of Big Brothers Big Sisters and Rebecca Loughrie of CHP. Both are trained and certified YMHFA instructors.

Parent 2 Parent Support Group for Families with Special Needs Children

We are excited to launch our first parent support group. Parent 2 Parent (P2P) is a support group that encourages families with special needs children to share their challenges, support each other and ask questions. P2P is a safe space to be vulnerable and honest. No judgment. No shame.
