Welcome to the Soul Oriented 21 Day Meditation Series!
This email will give the details on how the series will work. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to message me at any time.
The series will last 21 days, from Jan 11-31, during which time you will be on a group text thread with four to eight others who are also participating. These folks will be your meditation pod for the series. The text thread will be over the platform WhatsApp. If you don't already have this, you can download the app by Saturday evening if possible. (Feel free to send me your phone number and I'll send you the link to download the app if you aren't finding it.)
Each morning, starting Monday, January 11, you will receive an email like this one in your inbox that will include that day's focus, a short written reflection from me, a somatic exercise to practice, a link to an audio to download and listen to that day and one journal prompt.
Once you receive the email, and have done the meditation, you are encouraged to go onto your WhatsApp group text chain to confirm that you've completed that day and to answer the journal prompt, along with any other reflections you'd like to share about the practice.
The intention of the group is for encouragement, connection and gentle accountability. If you miss a day. (or two or three) you can either just skip it, or share your reflections for multiple days at once. This is about SUPPORTING you, whatever that means, not shaming you. So, while we encourage a daily practice when you can, there is no "keeping up."
And, if you would rather not be assigned to a group, but just receive the emails each day, please let me know.
I will be creating the groups and sending out intro messages this weekend. And then your first meditation will arrive early Monday morning.
