Dear Atheopagan cleric <<First Name>>,
Welcome to the January 2021 edition of The Atheopagan Voice, your mostly-monthly update on happenings in the Atheopagan community and source for materials and resources to help support your clerical practice.
Especially for those of us in the United States, it's been a stressful beginning to the new year. But the attempted right-wing insurrection failed, and now, at last, we once again have adults of good will in charge of our government. People who believe in science, and are willing to confront the serious challenges before us with competence and reason.
As Atheopagan clerics, we know our role in the world is to be exemplars to others and exponents for positive change. We agreed to the Atheopagan Principles because we, too, are adults of good will. Who believe in a better future, even if humanity must go through profound challenges to get there.
It is a stressful time, coming on the heels of a terrible 2020 and in the midst of a surging pandemic. So do what you can to care for and safeguard yourself and your loved ones--as crazy as these times are, we must survive to exemplify the values and practices that are our Atheopagan path.
