Lockdown is over!
This week at River City our store re-opens tomorrow Tuesday 12th January, after the Greater Brisbane Area 3-day lockdown. Our store continues to operate under our COVID-19 plan with the following new arrangements in line with Qld Heath's current restrictions:
- masks are to be worn in the store at all times
- respect the 1.5m social distancing guidelines
- use the hand sanitiser station on entry to the store
- all classes must be pre-booked
- check-in with the QR Code system
QR Code System
We introduced a COVID Tracing QR code system into our store in December. Whilst we are not mandated to do so at this time, we wanted to be at the forefront of ensuring our customers that we are able to contact trace all customers in the event of a contact or close contact experience at our store.
In the light of the events that unfolded over the past few days, this type of system enhances our means of contacting customers should there be any type of COVID 19 contact at our store.
We ask all customers to please sign in using the QR Code with your smart phone when entering the store or classroom area. The app and your smart phone will sometimes remember the link, to the COVID Trace website. If you do not have a smart phone capable of this, we can sign you in in-store with your name, contact phone number and email address.
Rest assured that this information is not recorded or kept by our store. In line with Queensland's current legislation, all data is deleted from the app after 56 days.
We appreciate your assistance with these measures and hope that we can all stay safe and well with these increased measures.

Know Your Machine classes
Our Know Your Machine class bookings are now online via our website - Click Here
All Know your Machine classes are for 1 hour each and are based on a 1 on 1 with our selected teachers. You can select your preferred day and time from the options available. The website will show only the available times for each day. All new machine purchases that include a bonus free Know your Machine lesson, you will need to use your coupon code to claim your free KYM class. All our Know Your Machine Class sessions are $65 each.
The process is simple:
- select the class type from the list available
- select the available day from the calendar
- select your preferred time from those available and complete the information as required, then Select the Book Now or Add to Cart button
- View the Shopping Cart and confirm your date and time - If you have a new machine purchase coupon - enter the coupon number in the area provided to claim your free class.
- Checkout - Enter your details into the shopping cart as required and complete any payment details. Once checkout is completed , your booking will now be complete and you will receive and email confirmation of your class and also a reminder prior to your class. Please ensure that you bring with you all the items as described for your class.
