Due to the Bay Area Region’s continued Intensive Care Unit (ICU) capacity of less than 15%, the state’s Stay-Home Order is being extended for Napa County. Announced Saturday, the extension will remain in effect until the region’s ICU capacity projected out four weeks is more than 15%.
The region's ICU capacity and forecast will be assessed on a weekly basis. As of Monday, the Bay Area's ICU capacity was 3%. To check the daily ICU capacity by region, click here.
The Regional Stay Home Order – which originally went into effect on Dec. 17 – instructs Californians to stay at home as much as possible and to stop mixing between households to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
