This past year has threatened the social fabric of our country as we endured racial injustice, economic inequities, deadly disease, climate change induced disasters, and now violent political insurrection. As a collective of dedicated public servants and foreign representatives of the United States, we are a powerful force for rebuilding understanding and fortifying democracy in our nation and abroad.
This violence cannot stand. These are the words we echo from our parent organization, the National Peace Corps Association.
Now, more than ever, we are committed to connecting and mobilizing the estimated 3,300 Peace Corps volunteers who have served in Ukraine, which is why we are announcing that we now provide FREE Lifetime Membership. By joining, you help us build a powerful force for good. Together we can fight the injustices that we have witnessed in our country and help repair the damage to our foreign relations. Call for Board Applications
Interested in taking a leadership role with the Alliance and helping us achieve our 2021 goals? Want to polish those professional skills and build your personal network? Come join the Board! We are seeking individuals from our community to fill two key roles: Communications Lead and Board Treasurer, though we also accept applications for Board Member-at-Large.
Please submit your application electronically to allianceforukraine@gmail.com. Applications must be received by January 30th, 2021 to be considered.
All candidates will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and selections will be made by February 10th, 2021. We strongly encourage our BIPOC and LGBTQ+ returnees to apply. We look forward to having new people and ideas join our mission to empower an international network of people, agencies, and organizations dedicated to fostering a self-determined and globally-connected Ukraine.
