Margaret's Mail

Hello Sloss Community,

We wanted to check in with everyone as we approach the beginning of the Spring 2021 Semester. To those of you that participated in the winter session, you have our heartfelt congratulations!

In many ways the start of Spring 2021 feels overwhelming. We are seeing a number of things occur globally, nationally, and locally. Last week, we saw efforts to terrorize our government officials and threaten our democracy. We continue to face the COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges of a global health crisis in all of our communities. And yet, we are optimistic as we start a new semester and look forward to the possibilities of a new year. We continue to commit ourselves to our vision of creating a campus that works collaboratively towards greater equity for all. We are excited to share resources and programming that we hope will inspire you to learn new things and strengthen your networks on campus.

And lastly, we want you to know as you embark on a new semester that we are here for you. All of us at Sloss are available for virtual consultations and check-ins. You can find our contact information and meet all of our Spring 2021 staff on our Meet the Staff page. Please reach out, we'd love to hear from you!

Below you will find a number of upcoming online programs and encourage you to join in and create community with us. We hope to see you all virtually soon.

Best,
The Margaret Sloss Center for Women and Gender Equity Staff
