New Year Update
We would like to say a big thank you to all of our contributors from 2020 - to authors, editors, peer reviewers, consumers and methods experts. Your support and work for us is greatly appreciated and we look forward to continuing that work in 2021.
Congratulations to our regular author Arturo J Martí-Carvajal, first author on the review.
Free virtual workshops for Cochrane Review Authors
Cochrane UK continues to offer virtual Review Author Training workshops to authors of Cochrane Intervention Reviews.
There are four core workshops to help authors at different stages of review preparation, from beginning a review protocol through to completing the review:
Eligibility:
Authors based in the UK or Ireland who have had a review title accepted by a Cochrane Review Group (CRG). If the authors are collaborating on a NIHR-funded review and are not based in the UK or Ireland, please contact the Managing Editor.
Please note, the workshops only focus on Cochrane Intervention Reviews. If authors of different types of Cochrane reviews are interested in attending, please send an email to general@cochrane.nhs.uk
In October 2020 Cochrane announced an updated and more rigorous conflict of interest policy. The updated policy applies to all newly registered titles and updates that began after the launch date, and will not apply to ongoing projects registered before the launch.
Please read it here and contact us with any questions you may have.
Update: Cochrane have now produced a one page quick guidance for authors which explains the key points of the CoI policy for Cochrane Library Content.
We advertise available titles for established author teams throughout the year. Please continue to check the advertised titles page for new titles, and we will continue to update you in our newsletters.
