Yesterday we learnt the saddening news that beloved Liverpudlian singer songwriter, Gerry Marsden, has passed. It is now that we remember his work and celebrate his life.

As well as being the voice behind the Liverpool FC anthem, You'll Never Walk Alone, Marsden was the lead singer of Gerry and the Pacemakers, who were The Beatles biggest rivals on the local Liverpool music scene.
