Join us in congratulating Lisa Hartman on her new role as the Associate Deputy Mayor of Regional Operations. She is taking over the role following Mike Reberg’s retirement at the end of last year. Her extensive work on COVID-19 in 2020 makes her a perfect fit for the role and we’re excited to keep her valuable skills and expertise at the County.  
 
Lisa previously served as the Intergovernmental Liaison for Mayor Jenny Wilson, working directly with the 23 Salt Lake County Municipalities, and was the Senior Policy Advisor to former Council Vice-Chair Michael H. Jensen, District 2. 
 
Before working at Salt Lake County, Lisa was President of Sausi Communications for 17 years. She and her team developed the Salt Lake County Stormwater Coalition and the successful We All Live Downstream Campaign working with 13 Salt Lake County Cities and 3 Public Agency partners. Lisa managed government affairs, public information, advertising, and public relations services for national, state, and local clients. She was also a commissioner on the Sandy Planning Commission. 
 
Lisa is a graduate of the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science. She lives in Sandy with her husband Dan, and they have five children and four grandchildren.
