Trial Updates

Study enrollment update
The randomization cap for VDORA1 Part 2 was increased from 57 to 63 randomized participants. There are currently 56 randomized participants and 4 in the run-in phase. At present, new screening visits can be scheduled only by permission. Sites should contact Kimberly Harris directly at AskVDORA@uams.edu regarding any potential new subjects and copy their CSM.

You can access a complete VDORA1 study update here: STUDY UPDATE

Please continue to send all questions that you may have about site activation to AskVDORA@uams.edu.

Intervention phase update
It’s hard to believe there are only 4 weeks left in the intervention phase of the the iAmHealthy feasibility pilot! The intervention phase will end February 7, and the post-intervention phase will run from February 8 to March 7, which is when the post-intervention measurements will occur.

To prepare for post-intervention measurements, the DCOC will host a mandatory training refresher on January 14 from 2:00 p.m.to 3:00 pm CT, during the scheduled site meeting. The training will be recorded and placed on the ECHO ISPCTN Research Portal for those who are unable to attend the January 14 meeting.

Please note that the site investigator and blinded coordinators (primary and backup) must complete the training refresher before post-intervention measurements can begin.

If you have not already done so, please complete the short post-intervention measurements questionnaire. Your answers to this questionnaire will help the DCOC with resource distribution and logistics for the post-intervention period.

If participants contact you, please remind them that you are blinded and not to disclose any information about their intervention. Participants should contact the unblinded coordinator for their site with any questions. The contact information is listed below.
