Pastor's Message

"Khorhoort Medz"

"A great and sublime mystery is revealed on this day, the shepherds sing with the angels and give good tidings to the world. A New King is born in the city of Bethlehem! Oh sons of men praise Him, Who assumed flesh for us. The unbound one in heaven and on earth was wrapped in cloth; always in sigh of the Father, revealed Himself in the manger."                                                               Christmas Sharagan

Upcoming St. Garabed Church

Events

Sunday, January 17, 2021Archpriest Fr. Vahan Gosdanian will celebrate Divine Liturgy and deliver Sermon on the occasion of the Feast of the Birth of St. John the Baptist (Sourp Hovanou Garabed), which is the Name Day celebration of our church. Church Service will be starting at 11:00 am.

Dear Parishioners,

In spite of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we would like to continue celebrating "St. Garabed Church Name Day" on Sunday, January 17, 2021, in a slightly different way than previous years.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to host festivities (getting together with Armenian music and dances) at our Cultural Center because of strict restrictions mandated for the safety of the public.
Still, St. Garabed Church Ladies Auxiliary will be preparing our famous Harissa dish on Sunday, and Archpriest Fr. Vahan Gosdanian will bless the Madagh/Harissa at the end of Church Service, which will then be distributed to the parishioners.
This year the Harissa is being sponsored by Mr. & Mrs. Garo & Maria Bayramian.
During these difficult days, St. Garabed Church has kept its doors open for our spiritual needs. We thank Archpriest Fr. Vahan Gosdanian and Archpriest Fr. Avedis Torossian for continuously performing Church Services every Sunday.
We would appreciate your heartfelt donations to our beloved St. Garabed Church of Las Vegas on the occasion of this Holy Feast (Hovanou Garabed).
Kindly make your generous donations by check payable to "St. Garabed Church" and mail it to:
