National Mentoring Month is observed in January to promote youth mentoring. It was inaugurated in 2002 and is led by the Harvard School of Public Health, MENTOR, and the Corporation for National and Community Service. The month is focused on raising awareness while exploring how we can work together to increase the number of mentors to ensure youth in our communities have strong role models.
