Today, I want to thank you for choosing Alphonsus Academy & Center for the Arts and for being a member of our AACA family. As a family, we have successfully navigated the challenging first months of this school year. As we look forward to the remaining months of this year, I invite you to commit to returning to AACA for the 2021-2022 school year.
We want to ensure your child's place at AACA is held as we welcome new students to the school for next year. Current students are guaranteed a place in next year's class if they reregister by January 27, 2021 and pay the individual registration fee and family deposit in February (based on their FACTS billing cycle.) After that date, new and current students will be accepted only if there are openings in the class. Please read the information below and then click here to make your commitment to return to AACA next fall.
Budgeting Process
I would like to share with you the overall process to create our budget for the 2021-2022 school year.
Each year, the School Administration, School Advisory Board, Pastor, and Parish Business Manager analyze the financial well-being of AACA to begin planning for the following school year, including determining the school budget and tuition levels. Additionally, this year, the School Advisory Board Finance Committee played an active role in this process.
The budgeting process involves considering what we are doing as a school to fund a robust and effective program that educates the whole child. We consider feedback from our parent community and outline anticipated needs and expenses (personnel, instructional, technology, materials, infrastructure needs, repairs, and maintenance, etc.) for the upcoming school year. We consider our past income-expense trends, as well as enrollment projections, to determine our annual budget. The entire process is mission-focused and guided by a commitment to keeping AACA an exceptional value for families.
Currently, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of educating a student. We also rely on philanthropic giving from our school families, alumni, and all those who love AACA to fund the difference between tuition and operating expenses.
2021-2022 Tuition
Tuition rates for the 2021-2022 school year:
- Kindergarten – 8th Grade: $9,400
- Sibling Discount: $1,000 discount per additional qualified student
- 5 Day Full Day Preschool: $12,200
- 5 Day AM Preschool: $11,000
- 4 Day PM Preschool: $10,000
- 3 Day AM Preschool: $10,600
Our 2021-2022 budget relies on your firm commitment to Alphonsus Academy once you have registered to return. If you are uncertain about whether your child will attend AACA in the fall due to situations such as possible relocation, please contact Director of Admissions, Mary Bodlak at your very earliest convenience.
Student Registration Fee
Once you complete the reregistration form, your $100/student reregistration fee will be applied to your family’s FACTS account for payment on your regular billing cycle in February 2021. This non-refundable fee partially covers the technology associated with our reregistration process. The remainder of this expense is funded by tuition.
Family Tuition Deposit
A non-refundable tuition deposit of $750/family will also be applied to your FACTS account for payment in February 2021. This non-refundable deposit will be applied toward your 2021-2022 tuition. If the tuition deposit causes financial hardship for your family, then please feel free to contact Mary Bodak to discuss alternate payment plan options.
