In the run-up to Christmas, the Blackburn with Darwen Youth Awareness Projectwere able to provide gifts and hampers to 325 children across Blackburn with Darwen, central Lancashire and Hyndburn, thanks to small grants from Community CVSand Local Giving Children Christmas.

► Weston Charity Awards - closes Friday 8th January Awards to registered charities working in the fields of youth, welfare and community. A package of support will enable winners to develop, raise their profiles, become more sustainable and face the future with greater confidence.
► Archives Revealed - Scoping Grants - closes Monday 11th January Grants to public sector bodies, registered charities and other not-for-profit organisations to help analyse collections, supporting development of future plans for cataloguing priorities and projects.
► Hilden Charitable Fund - closes Tuesday 12th January Grants for charities working in the areas of homelessness, penal affairs, asylum seekers and refugees, community based initiatives for disadvantaged young people (16-25), and projects in developing countries working on community development, education, and health (with particular interest in projects that address the needs and potential of girls and women).
