In the run-up to Christmas, the Blackburn with Darwen Youth Awareness Project were able to provide gifts and hampers to 325 children across Blackburn with Darwen, central Lancashire and Hyndburn, thanks to small grants from Community CVS and Local Giving Children Christmas.

Culture Recovery Fund - Repayable Finance Programme - closes Thursday 7th January
Loans for charitable, not-for-profit and commercial organisations operating within the arts, museums and heritage sectors (including independent cinemas) that were financially stable before the coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis but are now at imminent risk of failure.

John Ellerman Foundation - Regional Museums and Galleries Fund - closes Friday 8th January
Funding to help strengthen regional museums and galleries by helping organisations to enhance and sustain curatorial development to attract a broader public.

Ragdoll Foundation - closes Friday 8th January
Funding to support not-for-profit organisations, especially arts organisations, that are working with children and young people using the arts and creative media.

Thriving Communities Fund - closes Friday 8th January
Grants for local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise projects that bring together place-based partnerships to improve and increase the range and reach of available social prescribing community activities – especially for those people most impacted by COVID-19 and health inequalities.

Weston Charity Awards - closes Friday 8th January
Awards to registered charities working in the fields of youth, welfare and community. A package of support will enable winners to develop, raise their profiles, become more sustainable and face the future with greater confidence.

Archives Revealed - Scoping Grants - closes Monday 11th January
Grants to public sector bodies, registered charities and other not-for-profit organisations to help analyse collections, supporting development of future plans for cataloguing priorities and projects.

Hilden Charitable Fund - closes Tuesday 12th January
Grants for charities working in the areas of homelessness, penal affairs, asylum seekers and refugees, community based initiatives for disadvantaged young people (16-25), and projects in developing countries working on community development, education, and health (with particular interest in projects that address the needs and potential of girls and women).

Innovation Continuity Loans: Strand 2 (November 2020) Follow-on Competition - closes Wednesday 13th January
Innovation continuity loans for SMEs and third sector organisations that are at risk of not continuing planned or existing innovation activity due to a sudden shortage or even unavailability of funds directly related to COVID-19.
