CLUB NEWS

Welcome Back

Dear Members,
I hope that you are well.
We plan to reopen the Clubhouse this Sunday (10 January 2021) subject to Northern Zone restrictions being lifted on Saturday (9 January 2021). All going well the Northern Zone of the Northern Beaches will re-join Greater Sydney and access to boating, boating services and our Food & Beverage offering will once again be available to members and guests and we hope that our gym is also operational to members. More details HERE.

Food & Beverage Hours

We are pleased to be able to open Halyards Bistro & Bar starting with breakfast this Sunday 10th January. Food & Beverage hours will return to normal (as pictured). As mentioned above in the 'General Managers Message', all members & guests will need to sign in and abide by current COVID regulations. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Dicko Cup 2021

This annual event is great fun. It starts with a race from a start line near RMYC and a finish line near Challenger Head (in Broken Bay). This is followed by a BBQ and social events at Hallets Beach. There will then be a race back on the Sunday followed by prize giving at the club.
The Dicko Cup is designed to be a relaxed race open to all club members and the fastest boat does not necessarily win. Even if you do not normally race we strongly recommend this as a great club event and an opportunity to meet with other club members.
Entry & NOR will be available online soon HERE.

Prada Cup Challenger Selection Series

The Prada Cup Challenger Selection Series runs from 15 Jan - 22 Feb in Auckland New Zealand, we hope to have the racing televised live here at the Club. We will provide you more details closer to the start of the first race. In the meantime more information on the competitors and schedule can be found HERE.
