Dear Nefesh Community,
Sending blessings to each of you and your family and beloveds of health and strength and patience. These are big times we are living in and they require spiritual support. Saturday morning 1/9 will gather for a Shabbat morning service. Song, prayer, Torah, discussion, human connection. 9:30am Shabbat Family Jam 10am Shabbat morning service Zoom for this Saturday Shabbat
Sunday 1/10 is our monthly Nefesh Boost. Join us for study and spiritual discovery. 11am Torah Study: The dramatic tale of Judah and Tamar. And a guest appearance by Clayton Fox in a theatrical performance. 12:30 Middot Groups: we will continue our exploration of your personal middah of the year and dive together into the middah of Emunah, Faith.
We have a special Nefesh Boost for kids this Sunday. Joyful prayer, Torah, and middot learning for K-7th graders as part of the SIJCC’s JLC. Email Ellen if you are interested ekennedy@nefeshla.org
Also on Sunday (1/10) at 10am is our monthly Second Nurture cohort of those participating in or interested in learning more about foster and adopt through LA County: Second Nurture Cohort
