Tri-county area to begin Covid-19 vaccination of seniors 75 and up [Free]

People 75 and older may begin receiving the Covid-19 vaccine as early as Wednesday in Brunswick and Pender County and Thursday in New Hanover County, health officials from all three counties announced Tuesday afternoon.

A nonprofit pharmacy will be bringing up to $100,000 of free over-the-counter medications to a drive-thru event on Jan. 15, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., to help serve those in need.
