We look forward to seeing you at the CSA Special Meeting Zoom Webinar this Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:00am ET.
VOTING PROCESS
Only CSA property-owning Members may vote on the proposal. Members are adult (18+ years old) individuals who are beneficial owners of or who are named as owners on the deed or legal instrument (Trust, LLC, etc.) pursuant to which title is held on the property of Congregational Summer Assembly.

A vote of the Members is required because the proposed seawall would be on CSA common property and a 2/3 majority of those Members present at the meeting is required to pass the motion (See Bylaws, Section B1 Bi).

There is only one vote per property no matter how many names are on the deed. If there are multiple owners on a deed/LLC/Trust, then the multiple owners need to decide among themselves how to cast their single vote. If multiple owners from the same property vote, your vote will only be counted once and if they vote differently, they will be cancelled and none of the votes will count, even though the property will still be counted for quorum purposes. So, please designate a Primary Contact to vote for your property.
HOW TO JOIN THE MEETING
You can start logging into the meeting as early as 10:45 a.m. Please use your full name when signing into the meeting so we know exactly who is attending. This is extremely important for verifying the vote.

You will receive a reminder confirmation email one hour before the meeting on Saturday morning. Click on the link that says Click Here to Join. (See example below.)
Do not share this link – for security purposes it is unique to your registration. It will be used for taking attendance and voting at the meeting. If you want to cast your own vote, you'll need to have your own computer/device and internet connection to the meeting. There is no mechanism to have 2 votes with one internet connection.

If you are having trouble using Zoom Webinar, Ed Allred has volunteered to be a telephone hotline for issues. Cell phone (415) 637-3674
At the Annual Meeting some participants were unsure if they were connected to the meeting. You will see this message if you are connected until we get a quorum.
Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in the meeting - up to 3 minutes to ask questions or make a comment. The way you do it is by submitting your question or requesting to speak using the Q&A feature on your Zoom toolbar once the meeting starts.
The MI Non-Profit Corporation Act states for membership meetings we need to provide a list of all members who are eligible to vote (regardless of whether they do.) Also, if the meeting is held solely by means of remote communication, then the list shall be open to the examination by any member during the entire meeting by posting the list on a reasonably accessible electronic network, and the information required to access the list shall be provided with the notice of the meeting. We will make an announcement at the beginning of the meeting the list is available and post the link during the meeting.
