Principal's Update

Dear Trail Ridge Families,

We are set to return to hybrid in-person learning this coming Monday, January 11th. During hybrid, students will return to the group they were in prior to our switch to virtual learning in November. Group 1 students attend on Mondays and Wednesdays, while Group 2 students attend on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Whether remote or in-person, school begins promptly at 7:45 am.

Students who have questions about their particular groups, class schedules, or the need for social emotional support, can reach out to one of our school counselors.

Mrs. Beard covers 8th grade and 7th grade (last name A-L)

Mrs. Nagy covers 6th grade and 7th grade (last name M-Z)

Beginning Friday, January 22nd, and continuing on all asynchronous Fridays moving forward, TRMS will host an open space for students to work independently or with peers on school assignments, or engage in office hours that can be scheduled by teachers with their students. Group 1 students will have the opportunity to attend from 9:00-11:00 am and Group 2 students from 12:00-2:00 pm.

Yearbooks 2021

Full color yearbooks are now available for the great price of $30 per book! You may purchase a yearbook through March 17, 2021. Parents have the option to personalize the yearbook with a student's name and up to four icons.

iPad Insurance

For families who missed the beginning of the year iPad insurance deadline, there is another opportunity to acquire insurance for the second half of the year. Once the iPad is first verified to be free of damage by our Media Tech, the $12.50 second semester iPad insurance fee can be paid at the office via cash or check payable to TRMS.

Important Dates for 8th Graders Planning to Attend Skyline HS (2021/2022)

SHS Counselors will be coming to Trail Ridge during class to register 8th graders for their Freshman Year on January 12th - 13th and again on January 19th - 20th. Counselors will also be available online on these dates for any students working remotely.

Parents and students are invited to attend Skyline High School's Virtual Incoming Freshman Night on Tuesday, January 19th, 6:00 - 7:00 pm, via Webex at https://tinyurl.com/SkylineInfoNight. 8th grade families will be given information on the registration process and how to support their high school student academically next year.

Choose the positives, and we are on our way toward extraordinary success; choose the negatives, and we embark on path toward disappointment, resentment, and suffering.
