State B&O Tax Credit

If your business pays State B&O tax, KDP can offer the Main Street Tax Credit (referred to as the B&O tax credit).. Participating businesses receive a 75% tax credit on your B&O tax liability for contributions made to the KDP via the Dept of Revenue.

The contribution can also be taken as a tax deduction as a charitable donation in the year its made.  This is a great way to keep your tax dollars in the community!

We would welcome opportunity to share details; please contact Executive Director, Gaila Haas HERE     More about how it works HERE

Crime Reporting:  If your business or personal property has experienced crimes including theft, vandalism, trespassing, drug activity or other, please complete a police report.  It is important to follow through with a report; here's why:
  1. Police track 'hot spots' based on police reports and prioritize patrols accordingly.  If crimes are not reported, police are not aware of them, thus not tracking them.
  2. If a suspect is apprehended, police may be able to link the crime based on reports.
  3. Be sure to include photos, video, license plates, etc. if available.
  4. If it is not reported, there is no way to follow up.
File a report HERE:

Trespass Agreement:   Police encourage businesses to file an agreement.  The purpose of this authority is to prevent criminal activity including trespassing, loitering, vandalism, theft, illegal drug trafficking and prostitution with may at your business.  Via this agreement, officers may act on your behalf  to arrest and/or trespass violators when deemed appropriate.
