The Ghost of East Texas
Sequel to Terminal Event
Ali Spooner

Agent Blair Cooper and her partner psychic Tally Rainwater (Terminal Event) are back in a gripping new murder mystery investigation.

When the serial killer Casper Caruso, known as The Ghost of East Texas, was sent to death row, Agent Blair Cooper was adamant that there were more victims of his killing spree. As his execution day approaches, Casper reaches out to Blair. If she agrees to a face-to-face meeting, he will give the whereabouts of 10 additional bodies left in his wake.

Is his request an act of remorse for his ruthless killings, or is there something sinister lurking in his dark mind?

Blair and Tally must piece together the clues to bring closure for some of the victim’s families. However, when you bargain with the devil, there is always a price to be paid.

A.C. Henley Author spotlight

This month’s author spotlight is A.C. Henley, who sadly died well before her time in September 2009. In the short career she had as an author, Affinity is proud to continue to keep her publications in the public eye. Affinity management never had the pleasure of meeting A.C. personally. However, we were happy when approached by the family to bring her books back to life with the help of her partner Sherry Baker, co-authors Erica Lawson, and Fran Heckrotte. It is with pride this month we celebrate this wonderful author.

To get to know this great author, we asked her partner Sherry Baker to take a trip down memory lane, and tell us a little something about A.C. Henley (aka Bridgette Wyman)

Bridgette was born in Oklahoma September 1966, where she was raised until preteen, the family then relocated to California. Always carrying with her, her Native American traditions, she learned from her surroundings, and her mother’s knowledge of native roots.

Huntington Beach was where she gained her eclectic appreciation of music, along with the love of art and pottery, the latter the first business she ever owned. This was also where she learned to be curious and fun loving. She spoke very often of her time there, and her experiences in life.

The family moved again to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Where she cared for her disabled mother until the day she died. She had much respect and a deep love for both her mother and her father.

After their passing it was time for another relocation this time for personal reasons to Paris, Texas to be with the love of her life. It was there that she felt much at home and made lifelong friends. Bridgette quickly turned her attention to her new life skill, working at the Paris Bakery. She loved getting up at 3 o’clock in the morning to make beautiful croissants and treats of every kind for the customers.

When Bridgette became obsessed with LesFic online, she tried her hand at writing. Learning what she could from other authors who became lifelong friends. This became her final passion, reaching her readers with words. She would be excited to know that years after she penned her novels they are still being read and enjoyed today.
