I trust you and your family have had a wonderful holiday and are off to an equally wonderful 2021.

It’s been a long-held tradition in my family to make New Year’s resolutions, taking stock of the things that are important to us all and laying out a plan to focus on key priorities for the year ahead. I am sure we can all agree that this year felt much different given all that is going on in the world with COVID-19 and how this tragic pandemic has transformed our view of the simple things we may have once taken for granted, as well as the big things we can never forget - like our health.

I personally entered 2021 knowing one thing for certain - our work at Mountain Valley MD has never been more important. Leading this incredible group of change makers is an awesome responsibility. Knowing that every single thing we are working on can dramatically transform human and animal health at a scale none of us could have imagined just a few short years ago. Truly, we are on the verge of life saving endeavours, world changing technologies and making an indelibly positive impact on healthcare, quality of life for one and all and committing ourselves to making this world a better place while we do it.

Every single time I read the daily news, there are countless validations of the need for the ground-breaking work we are doing. The mountain of evidence of the power of Ivermectin to positively treat COVID-19 as a therapeutic has been in the news hundreds of times over the past several weeks around the world - and the fact that our patented technologies make it 800% more effective, is huge news in and of itself. Then there is the billions upon billions of dollars being needlessly wasted on inefficient vaccine transport due to entirely unwieldy and frankly archaic cold chain requirements...is a tragedy of its own. What’s more, now the world is reeling from viral COVID-19 mutations that are (in many ways) forcing the needless culling of millions of animals on mass, is yet more news too sad to ponder. Saddest of all is the fact that by the time you are done reading this, yet another child will have died from Malaria. These somber truths are the kind that stoke our fires and inspire us to continue our critical work, each and every day. Why? Because we have the power to make a difference.

Before the holidays I shared an image of Mike Farber from an interview series we had done at our lab in Toronto and we will start to share some of that work more broadly in the coming weeks. However, I wanted to share one video excerpt that I think is very appropriate to kick off 2021 as it illustrates how our company can move so fast and be so innovative. Please take a moment to watch the video in the link below as it truly speaks to the DNA of our company, our mission and our people who believe (and fight) to make this world a better place. We are change makers and we won’t stop working to bring our advances in science, delivery technology and healthcare, until these dreams can all become a reality. And believe me when I say...we have never been closer.

A message from the CEO - Mountain Valley MD

The Mountain Valley team spent much of the holidays tirelessly working here in the labs and around the world, driven by the knowledge that our work is much bigger than any of our individual purpose and that the world needs more of Mountain Valley MD than ever before.

You can expect to hear more from us in the coming days as we continue to share more news, deeper insights and learning as well as our exciting advancements with the Polio vaccine, advanced cold chain testing, extensive sublingual product development work, incredible Ivermectin projects we are undertaking, the advancements we are making on dose sparing across the vaccine space, broad nutraceutical product development work and even our pending launch of CannaBloomTM. We have so many very significant and transformative projects underway and all of them are driven towards solving massive global health and wellness problems.

It is an honour to be able to do this work. And I am incredibly proud and undeniably thrilled that you are here with us on this change makers journey.

Wishing you and your loved ones continued health and wellness.
 Regards,

Dennis
