Happy New Year!

A new year... 365 new opportunities. For many, 2020 was a sad year or one of hurt and pain, leading to a wary entrance into 2021. I encourage you all to enter into this year BOLDLY! I am reminded of Joshua, standing before the Israelites, asking, "Choose this day whom you shall follow... but as for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord!"  Choose this day how you shall take each day of 2021, but as for CLS, we shall enter BOLDLY declaring the love of Jesus for all mankind! Thank you for your continued partnership in the Gospel and in educating the next generation of bold witnesses to our faith in Jesus.

God bless your weekend!
Mr. Weber

Lutheran School Partnership - Teacher Appreciation

Our teachers have given so much and we need to show them as a community how much we appreciate them. There are 19 schools in our Lutheran Schools Partnership throughout Northeast Indiana with approximately 350 teachers, assistants, athletic directors, music directors, etc... and we want to give each and every one of them a gift to show them that they are loved, they are heroes, that they are our greatest treasures.
Please read this letter to see how you can support this project!

Yearbook Help Needed!

In keeping with our theme for the year of "Sent to Serve", we are looking for ways that our CLS students have served outside of the CLS walls this school year. If you have a picture(s) of your child serving their church or community, we would love to include it in a section in the yearbook this year! Anything from the 2020-2021 school year (or summer 2020) would be great, and all submissions will be accepted through Friday, March 5th. Please email any photos and a brief description of the act of service to Mrs. Robinette at lrobinette@cluth.org.

What's Happening?

Mrs. Herman - 5th Grade

Mrs. Herman’s Fifth Grade ended the semester with learning to divide decimals, finishing their novels, and learning about mixtures and solutions. No Christmas break begins without a party. We had fun with our Sara Ball, ate pizza, watched the virtual Christmas Service and a movie, and made lap robes for Lutheran Life Villages thanks to a Thrivent Action Grant. Our class wishes each of you a Blessed New Year!
