Jeremy Pittman - RockPit Brewing

Jeremy's Middle Finger Fest Saturday Jan 30th 1:pm

Brewers Anonymous along with Rockpit Brewing have put together a charity event to raise funds for Jeremy and his family. All proceeds will go directly to the Pittman family as medical bills and physical therapy can be very expensive.
This event is featuring free homebrew for sampling as well as a silent auction consisting of various goods donated by homebrewers as well as local breweries.
Come out and try some delicious homebrew and perhaps you can walk away with some new gear or excellent Brewery Swag!
You can even participate in the Silent Auction Online!

A GoFundMe has been set up for Jeremy to help offset the overwhelming medical bills that are already coming in as well as to help cover the loss of income during this time. The GoFundMe page can be found here

Competition Season is Back!

The return of our annual “Sunshine Challenge” is in a lot of our minds already, and the return of several local competitions in the upcoming months is a great sign of things to come. With “Bring the cup home” being an unofficial motto for our 2021 event, we can begin to enjoy the competitive spirit with these local events.

Along with the return of our local competitions, the National Homebrew Competition is a "go" for 2021!

Important dates for NHC 2021:

Registration and Payment: February 17 – March 3
Shipping Window: March 29 – April 9 (there will be 1 judging site for NHC this year – it is currently slated to be Denver, CO)

There have been quite a few changes to this year competition, specifically in regards to entry fees and total number of the bottles/cans need from each entrant.

Check out the latest on this year's National Homebrew Competition at: https://www.homebrewersassociation.org/national-homebrew-competition/

All dates are subject to change, check the registration links for the latest dates and details on entry registration.

I'm sure it's safe to say we all hope this is just the beginning of the return of local competitions for 2021. Good luck to everyone that does enter, and let's start that journey to bringing our cup home were it belongs!

Membership 2021!

Membership remains $20  and is due in January. While the club didn't have as many expenses this year, we also didn't have any income either from our normal raffles etc.

Please send payment via PayPal to:
Paypal@cfhb.org.

If you plan on attending the February Meeting in person at Castle Church please bring your dues with you.
Thank you!
