Update on the Covid-19 Vaccine
 
Since the state of Massachusetts is still in Phase 1 and activated group of Phase 2 who are the one who can get the vaccine here are more information of where and when you can sign up: https://www.maimmunizations.org/.

City of Lowell parking study
 
The city of Lowell invites you to join the virtual open house on parking study. During this meeting, the project team will discuss study goals, share a detailed parking inventory that is underway, and summarize early observations and findings. The project team also wants to hear from you about parking issues and concerns in your neighborhood as well as potential opportunities to improve parking in Lowell. Join our study on Gambling in the Asian Community. 

The Tufts University institutional review board approved this research. The interviews will take 45-60 minutes, and they will be conducted via Zoom or phone. It will be Confidential. New American Leaders is leading a movement for inclusive democracy by preparing first and second-generation Americans to run, win, and lead.
        Ready to Lead® is their signature training program. It identifies the immigrant experience as an asset in civic leadership.

This program is focused on anyone who is an immigrant here in the United States and interesting in the running for public office. The program will detail what you have to do and show different strategies to help your campaign and as the candidate.

Lowell Votes is a nonpartisan effort to encourage and support all City of Lowell citizens to shape their community through voting, with a special emphasis on those who face barriers to voting or have historically low turnout rates.

They will have their first monthly meeting of this year on February 2, 2021, at 2:00 pm. Please visit the link below to get more information and keep yourself updated if you would like to join.

Lowell votes will also be hosting a Candidate training in March. The program calls Candidate Empowerment&Readness Training. The application had already open, and it will be open until February 18, 2021. 

This program will focus on whoever wants to run for public office in this election cycle or the next election cycle. The main goal of this program is “To help train and support non-traditional candidates for municipal office to run successful campaigns and legislate effectively if elected.” and it FREE

This program will be held on March 20th, 10 am-5 pm, March 27th, 10 am- 2 pm, and April 3rd, 10 am -2 pm. Please visit the link below to get more information
