Dear Merchants,
Explore Millburn-Short Hills will mark the Lunar New Year by organizing a giveaway during the week of February 5 -12. This event is entirely FREE for merchants in the Special Improvement District, so we hope that you RSVP by this Friday, 1/29 to join the celebration.
What the event is about:
- Participating merchants will be provided with fortune cookies to give away February 5-12. Explore Millburn Short-Hills is purchasing the cookies - there is NO COST to the merchants.
- Customers who visit your business, or purchase "to go," get a fortune cookie with attached instructions on how to enter the giveaway.
- To enter the giveaway: Customers take a picture of their fortune, or write their own, and post on Facebook and/or Instagram. They #exploremillburnshorthills and tag a friend.
- On February 13th, Explore Millburn-Short Hills will pick 10 winners.
- Each winner will get a $25 gift card from one of the participating merchants. The gift card will be purchased by Explore Millburn-Short Hills - there is NO COST to the merchants.
What you need to do if you want to participate:

We will email participating merchants by Monday, February 1 with instructions on where to pick up cookies and some social media tips on how to create a buzz around the celebration. We would really love to have as many merchants as possible from all of the areas within the Special Improvement District represented, so we hope to hear from you!
