Lessons to Take Forward

Dear Friends,

How can we take the lessons of 2020 to inform how we rebuild our world? The Baltimore Legacy Builders Collective, currently consisting of I Am MENtality, B-360, and The Be. Org, says empowerment--specifically of black-led organizations in the city--will play an imperative role moving forward.

As I AM MENtality turns five this year, I recently spoke with their Executive Director, Darren Rogers to celebrate together virtually and learn about their vision to foster the growth of Baltimore's youth leaders. We also discuss how their plans intersect with the collective’s broader mission to pay resources forward to other black-led organizations.

Keep on reading for this story and the latest roundup of opportunities from friends and partners within our network. You’ll also find key updates for small businesses, upcoming workshops and programs, as well as readings that have been transforming our own thinking at the Hub.
