Free Webinar on Behalf of AccessGA: Moving Beyond Compliance in the Digital Arena - Feb 3rd: 1:30PM to 2:30PM EST

This webinar is being offered through AccessGA, a joint initiative of the State ADA Coordinator's Office – Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission, and the Georgia Institute of Technology's Center for Inclusive Design & Innovation.

In this webinar, we will explore how compliance is often defined in terms of digital accessibility, and what it means to move beyond compliance toward best practice. We will provide a brief overview of Levels A, AA, and AAA within the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). We will also cover areas that may be considered ‘best practice’ for some people, but could be considered essential for others. A live demonstration will also be provided to illustrate how and why some ‘best practices’ are important to consider when creating digital content for accessibility.
