Registration is OPEN!
Camping can often be an intimidating adventure, especially in winter! Join us at Osprey Wilds in Sandstone, Minnesota, for a weekend focused on learning and advancing your winter outdoor skills. No previous camping experience is required!
Through hands-on learning, you’ll leave feeling confident in winter camping and ready to plan your next adventure! Over the course of the weekend, you'll learn:
 
Winter camping basics
Packing and preparing for cold weather
Dressing to stay warm
Cooking outdoors
Building and starting a fire

You will also have the opportunity to cross-country ski, snowshoe, and try out our high ropes course. 
Itinerary

Friday, February 26  - Sleeping Indoors

Arrival 5 - 8 PM  | Meet & Greet | S'mores + Movie 
 

Saturday, February 27 -  Sleeping Outdoors

Breakfast | Camping Basics | Snowshoeing & Skiing

Lunch | High Ropes | Packing & Camp Setup

Fire Building | Dinner
 

Sunday, February 28
Breakfast | Pack Up Camp | Wildlife Barn Tour | Bag Lunch | Optional Hike at Banning State Park

Tents, cross-country skis, snowshoes, meals, and utensils will be provided by Osprey Wilds. Participants can use their own tent if they prefer. A full schedule, packing list, and warm-clothing guidelines will be sent to all participants after registering.
