Zoom calls…

If you’re like me, you’re wondering how to get out of the dark for those virtual meetings. I mean, you do want to look great but no amount of desk lighting or overhead lighting will do the job. You’ll just look dark, and have bags under your eyes, no matter how much you try, or how much make-up you put on.

When the “Voice” was being taped, each of the performers was shipped a kit that looked identical to this great videoconferencing kit from London Drugs. This is obviously one of many in the market place, but easily purchased from a local retailer.

I am often asked about portable dressing rooms. I’ve had many custom ones built, but again…a local retailer Eddie’s Hang Up Display has the answer.

These portable dressing rooms can be temporary pop-up’s or permanent solutions to adding dressing rooms into your store or business. Free-standing, Mirrors, hooks for clothing and blackout curtains. Everything you need and lots of space too.

There is exciting mannequin news coming in about a month…

Gov. General Julie Payette

I know that I should say EX Governor General…but I want to tell you a cool story.

Years ago, when I was doing a ton of Special Events, I had the opportunity to plan and provide the decor for St. John Ambulance’s 900th Anniversary. It was so exciting, as Julie Payette was the Guest of Honour and Key-Note Speaker.

Below you will see the decor that was done, but also the wonderful special hand-written message from Julie, along with two photos of our Earth.

To this day, I still feel awe-inspired!

The bucket was stuffed with re-cycled metal shavings. The iridescent balls (planets?) were Styrofoam Christmas ornaments, and…wait for it…the prongs were chain link fence which we painfully took apart to make these strange-looking space-like arrangements.
