Further to our NSW Update 11 January 2021, the NSW Government has now announced an easing of community restrictions for the Greater Sydney region (including Wollongong, Central Coast and Blue Mountains), effective from 12:01am Friday, 29 January 2021.
At the time of writing the announcement is contained in the Press Release from the NSW Premier, full details here: https://www.nsw.gov.au/media-releases/covid-19-restrictions-update-for-greater-sydney
For natural medicine practitioners the principal change is the requirement for face masks. ATMS would continue to recommend that individual practitioners make your own risk assessment on mask usage within practice.
From Friday 29 January 2021 the use of masks within clinics is no longer specifically mandated by the NSW Government.

- “Masks will be recommended but no longer compulsory at retail shopping venues.”
- “Masks will remain compulsory for front-of-house hospitality staff, on public transport, in places of worship, hairdressers, beauticians and gaming rooms.”
