New Parking Meters in Downtown Denton

Denton is updating the way people pay for parking downtown. On January 19, 2021, parking kiosks were installed at the 100 block of Market Street and at 2nd Street.

Meters currently take coins only. Patrons parking in these locations will have the added convenience of paying for parking at a kiosk with cash, credit card, or debit card. Make sure you know your car’s license plate number when you pay at the kiosk. The plate number has to be keyed in as part of the process. Learn more here.

Dallas Lister Sworn in on Denton Town Council

At the January 7, 2021 Town Council Meeting, Mayor Abby McNinch swore in Dallas Lister to serve a 5-year term on the Denton Town Council.

Councilperson Lister was re-elected during the November 3, 2020 election.

Friends of the Library Stay In & Read Fundraiser

Friends of the Caroline County Public Library invite you to a "novel event" fundraiser to benefit our local library! Grab a book, cozy up, and enjoy reading from the comfort of your home! Harry's on the Green will be celebrating Valentine Day on Saturday, February 13th with a special menu that includes champagne and roses from Harry! The Valentine's Menu will be posted soon on their Facebook page.

February's Third Thursday theme is I Love Paris with French wines and a menu inspired by their travels in France featuring three courses with wines for $25. Follow them on Facebook for the latest.
