Memorial Service | Sunday 31 January | 7.30pm
An opportunity to gather on Zoom to remember those who have died during the last year, to say goodbye to loved family members and friends, and to give thanks for their lives.  Daniel will lead this 45 minute service which will include readings, poems, pictures and prayers. There will be an opportunity to light a candle at an appropriate time. Participants will be able to listen and join in silently as Daniel leads us through the service.  Zoom log in details have been sent to those who have already requested them.  If others would like them, please reply to this e-mail and we will send them to you.

Family Discipleship
A mailchimp has gone out to families this week with lots of helpful information about well-being in the current situation as well as an invitation to join in with a family taskmaster game online on Sunday 7 February.  If you didn't receive this and you would like to, just reply to this email and we'll forward it to you.
GenR8 lead assemblies and lessons in local schools and their teams are known by lots of our children!  GBC support their work in prayer and giving.  They are running an online weekend for children aged 8-11 from 12-14 February.  Full details and booking forms are here for anyone interested in finding out more.
Blessing our community in practical ways
We want to continue to bless those around us and we are collecting 'treats' to give to various groups of people in our community.  We are looking for chocolate, snacks, hand cream, other pamper toiletries etc.  You can drop items off at GBC (in a socially distanced Covid secure way while out on your walk!)

They have written this message,  "Dear friends, It is with a mix of excitement and sadness to let you know our news that we are moving away from Cambridgeshire after all these years. Excitement because we are moving on in our adventures with God and it’s fabulous to be moving closer to family (... no jokes here about Banham Zoo please!)  Sadness of course because it means moving away from so many dearly loved brothers and sisters in Christ at GBC. We will remain members of GBC until we find another church - but that could be a while with COVID restrictions, and where are we going to find another GBC?!  We will remain committed to Barney Group and Paul with BABS and LT/Church Secretary and both of us staying connected to GBC.  We will though miss you dearly. Once the restrictions are eased please do come and visit us in Norfolk and stay in touch."
