Issue 12: Pullman, Prizes and Projects
Welcome to the twelfth edition of the B&NES Library Volunteers newsletter, The 331. We hope you had a restful Christmas and New Year, and are staying safe.
In this edition: we journey to the Arctic in the LVRG Read, tell you all about our new competition, discuss two awareness weeks running at the same time, ask for your help with an important project and introduce you to an upcoming outreach programme.
Bath Central, Keynsham and Midsomer Norton Libraries are open for the collection of reservations, from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. There continue to be Covid safe protocols in place to protect public health, and these are as follows:
- Face coverings are required in our libraries, unless you have a special exemption, in line with the latest government guidance on face coverings
- The number of people entering the library at any one time will be limited
- Customers who don't have access to the internet can use our 'Ring To Reserve' service by calling Council Connect on 01225 394041 and selecting Option 5. Please have your library card number ready. There is a maximum of 10 reservations. If customers have access to LibrariesWest online please continue to place reservations in this way.
- Public computers and self-study areas will remain closed
- Books should still be returned through the designated drop-boxes on the ground floor and main entrance of Bath Central Library, and at the entrances of Keynsham and Midsomer Norton Libraries
