Pray for Our Church Family: 

* Please continue to pray for Peggy Gastner, who came through last week’s surgery well.  Unfortunately, during the procedure additional complications were found which are currently being reviewed by Peggy’s healthcare team.  We join Peggy in her prayers that the complications are as minimal as possible.  Jim is taking excellent care of Peggy and she is well provided for by her support circle. May we also send prayers of gratitude to all those who are helping Peggy through this trying time. 

*  We are grateful for the outpouring of support for The Granger Family following last week's announcement of Charles' passing. For those who wish to send their condolences to Ellen, her address is: 470 Kirk Lane, Media PA, 19063.

* We have been rejoicing  that Jesse Shutt's grandson Everett's platelet counts had risen to almost normal level, but his latest count has fallen by several thousand.  Please continue in prayer for Everett and his family.

*  Tom and Sandy Orr, parents of Stan Orr, are both fighting COVID-19.  Sandy remains in the hospital where she no longer needs supplemental O2 but is receiving IV -antibiotics for a kidney infection.  Her nurse is optimistic about her recovery.  Tom remains at home recovering where a nurse is monitoring him daily.  Mr. and Mrs. Orr's greatest symptom is fatigue, and we pray they are soon relieved of this. 

*  We were sad to learn that Elmer Cass, who had resided at Fair Acres, passed away in late summer.  We give thanks for Elmer's life and share in the grief of those friends who loved him.  Thank you, Jesus, for caring for him always and welcoming him home


-  Robert Ranson, his wife Ernestine, and their granddaughter Emily Jane Ranson are all recovering from Covid.  They are all beginning to feel better, please pray for continued and complete healing.

-  John Wood's mom, Maureen Wood is home from the hospital.  She has heart and lung issues and would appreciate continued prayers.  She is 89 years old, and so is John's dad.

-  Jim Resinger had his surgery and is recovering well.  Please continue to pray for his daughter, Lauren, and son-in law, Rob, who are still recovering from COVID.  

-  Praises that Betsy McKeon is recovering well from Covid and that Albert continues to be healthy.  Several in their apartment building, however, have been diagnosed with COVID and one neighbor has passed away.  Pray for all.

-  Please pray for Chris Bosma and her family as they grieve the passing of Chris's sister due to COVID.

-  Members Dana and Tom Jackson's family are recovering from COVID.  Tom's mother, Marilyn, and his nephew Danny are recovering from cases suffered around Christmas.  Dana's niece Alyssa and Alyssa's husband John Arrowsmith also are recovering from cases around Christmas.  All seem to be getting better, but your continued prayers are greatly appreciated.

-  Praises for Doug Crosby's steady recovery from his fall.  Both he and LuAnn are receiving PT now.  Pray for their total healing.

 
-  Ann Taylor continues to heal well from her surgery and will receive 5 radiation treatments in the near future.

-   Nancy Graham is experiencing continued back pain.  Please pray for her strength and healing, and wisdom as she considers her doctor's recommendations.

-  Laurie, Barb and Bill Ashenfelter's daughter, is continuing to heal well from her surgery and gain strength and resume her life.  Please continue to pray for her complete recovery.

-  Ken Lynch has begun treatment for his leukemia, and is responding well.  Continue to pray for strength and renewed health.

-  Please pray for Isabel, daughter-in-law if Ed and Lori Ardis.  Isabel has Stage 4 breast cancer.

-  Dave Barr's cancer treatments have been difficult and he continues to battle the cancer in his body.  Please pray for his strength and healing and the strength of his family.

-  Nora Quade, sister-in-law of Kate Meehan, passed away on November 24th.  Her husband and her sister were able to be with her.  Please pray for Kate, Nora's husband and sister, and all who grieve Nora's passing.

-  Please pray for Jack  Cahill, Brian McLaughlin's uncle and his Aunt Eileen Lynch .  Jack was being treated for balance issues related to Parkinson's.  He has been diagnosed with dementia related to a rapid advance in his Parkinson's.  Eileen is not likely to make a full recovery from her strokes, but she is stable and at peace to live out her life with full time care in an assisted living facility.  Pray for her daily comfort and joy.

-  Dick Reese, Nancy Graham's brother:  his back is healing and will not require surgery or a brace, and his love for Jesus is reviving.  Much praise.  Pray for continued strength for him as he cares for his wife.

-  Continued prayers for Phil Spencer's health and well being.

-  Louanne Fromm, cousin of Grace Nichols, continues to recover from an October car accident.   Praise the Lord, she is now driving herself and is doing therapy at home on her own. Her family is so thankful for her progress and thanks their MPC friends for their prayers. 

-  Albert Mckeone's brother, John, is home from rehab!  Praises and prayers for continued recovery.

-  Connie Hughes is now receiving chemotherapy treatments.  She is at the halfway mark and desires your prayers for her continued healing.  Connie also sends her gratitude for all the prayers and support.

-  Julie Harris, mother of Jessica Johnson, is back in her home, but she needs prayer for her continuing recovery from pneumonia and several other health concerns.  Pray also for the caregivers in her life.

-  Renee Erickson's sister Dawne , is a pastor in Cincinnati, Ohio recovering from COVID.  She has finally begun to feeling the return of her energy!  Ministry continues to be a challenge. Thank you for your ongoing prayers.

Pray For Friends of Our Church Family:

-Kate, a longtime colleague of Robin Smith, is 52 years old.  She was hospitalized following intense pain and diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer on 12/22 and began chemo on 12/24.  Insurance has approved for her to remain hospitalized for intensive therapy to prepare her body for the next round of treatment mid January.  Please pray for comfort, strength and complete healing.

-Please pray for Mary, friend of Ann and Jack Schoen.  Mary is 90+ years old, has breast cancer, for which she stopped treatment due to allergic reactions, and was just hospitalized for pneumonia.  She and her younger sister Helen have lived together their entire lives.  Please pray for healing for Mary, and strength and comfort for both Mary and Helen.

-Ed Oden and Bob Bissinger, friends of Jim Gatch, have both been hospitalized with COVID and are in need of prayer.

-A family friend of Liz Somsanith recently had a baby.  The baby's lungs are struggling, and the baby is being transferred to another hospital.  The parents are not allowed to accompany their baby due to COVID restrictions.  Please pray for healing.

-Sal Botta suffered a stroke on November 15th.  Please pray for Sal, his wife Donna, and the Botta family.

-Tobin Bickley's back surgery was successful in relieving his pain, but more extensive than the doctors had anticipated.  Please pray for his continued healing and no recurrence of the problem.


-Please pray for Susan Fischer, who is having very serious challenges with her eyes.

-10 year old daughter of a friend of Susan Fischer, who recently survived life-threatening spinal surgery at the Mayo Clinic and is now being treated at St. Jude.  Give thanks for the successful surgery and please pray for her continued healing.


-Stacy, Neighbor of Albert and Betsy McKeone: Please continue to pray for Stacy as she navigates health concerns, especially her need for oxygen.  Her heart procedure went well.

-Sharon, colleague of Chad Sanford, is a breast cancer survivor but recently found out the cancer metastasized to her liver.  She is on her 3rd cycle of Chemo and generally things are "normal".  While she is having some side effects (dermatological) and mild, infrequent nausea she is feeling pretty good.  Please pray that she will continue to tolerate treatment and make a full recovery.

-Bob, friend of Steve & Marcia Reed: Bob has received his bone marrow transplant and is now home.  He is doing well and gaining strength.  Bob and Sue are thankful for your prayers.  Please continue to pray for his complete recovery.

-Patty Hamre, friend of Jill Lardon.  Patty is recovering well from a positive Covid diagnosis.  Please keep her in your prayers.

-Nancy Tumini and Jo Canning, friends of Ann Taylor,  both completed their treatments for cancer.  Please continue to pray that their treatments have been successful.  They are very grateful for your prayers.


-Rev. Tony Campolo continues to make a slow but steady recovery from a recent stroke.  Please pray for complete healing.

Cathy, a friend of Wendy Casner, Dee and Bud's daughter:  Cathy has had her third oral surgery for cancer and is recovering a home.  Successful so far.

Dorothy, friend of Dee Casner: Dorothy had knee replacement recently and fell hitting  the knee & causing  a blood clot. She is 83 and has recovered well enough to return to her home at Kendal, thanks be to God!
