Desserts is stressed spelled backwards! Whether it's a study break you need or a break from all that's going on, you need some easy to make sweets ready to go. That's what this Zoom session is about! Join Ken (aka Mr. Claire, our campus minister's husband.) will guide you in making desserts from your dorm.
Email Claire at c.mcmullin2003@gmail.com to get the ingredients list if you want to bake along with us! All in attendance who live on campus and within driving distance of the Newman Center will be entered into a drawing for a goodie bag with supplies needed to make your own Dorm Dessert in case of emergency.
In order to be successful and stress less, it is important to make a schedule that you can interact with regularly. Join Claire either in person (limited, with masks) or on Zoom for tips on setting. up a schedule that ensures you cover all of the important things as well as live in tune with a balanced life. You will need to bring your schedule or calendar or have access to it on your computer. Color coding as a tool will be discussed, so you may want to bring markers, colored pens or pencils to use.

Calling all breakfast lovers! Come join us for Breakfast Club every morning (M – Fr) at 9 am in person in front of the Career Center next to A.D. Bruce and the square fountain or virtually via Google Meet!

What is Breakfast Club, you ask?
It’s a group of Christ-seeking friends that cast their petitions and worries at the feet of the Father through Our Lady’s intercession by praying the rosary and then getting breakfast at Cougar Woods! We pray for Claire, Claudia, Father Charlie, and all CSO intentions posted on this chat. Please let us know how we can pray for you!

We pray for an end to this pandemic and healing to those who are suffering physically, emotionally, and financially due to the pandemic. May they find peace and hope in Jesus Christ. We pray for the souls of all those who have died due to the Coronavirus and the consolation of their loved ones.

For our seven students in small group evangelization formation this semester. May God guide, bless, and draw them near during their formation and prayer times.

Eternal God, You have revealed Yourself as the Father of all Life. We praise You for the Fatherly care which You extend to all creation, and especially to us, made in Your image and likeness. Father, extend Your hand of protection to those threatened by abortion, and save them from its destructive power. Give Your strength to all fathers, that they may never give in to the fears that may tempt them to facilitate abortions. Bless our families and bless our land, that we may have the joy of welcoming and nurturing the life of which You are the source and the Eternal Father. Amen.

Jesus Retreat for Young Adults
All young adults (ages 18-39) are invited to join us for the Jesus Retreat. This retreat is designed for young adults who seek to more fully know Jesus and develop a personal relationship with him. This retreat helps retreatants grapple with the question Jesus put to the disciples two thousand years ago: “Who do you say I am?” This is a 3-day, 2-night Charis retreat based on Ignatian Spirituality and will be held on Feb. 26-28, 2021, at Circle Lake Retreat Center (19000 Circle Lake Dr., Pinehurst, TX 77362). The cost is $150 per person (includes food and lodging). Due to Covid restrictions, spaces are limited and all attendees will be required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing throughout the weekend. Register online by Feb. 11 at www.archgh.org/yacm/charis. For more information, contact the Office of Young Adult & Campus Ministry at yacm@archgh.org or 713-741-8778.

Thanks to everyone who attended last Cafe Catholica Lite! For those who may have missed it, here's the link for the recording! Please click for an excellent talk from Heather Khym!
