Confirmation Classes to Begin in February

7th & 8th Graders are invited to join the youth group, if you aren't already attending, to begin Confirmation classes in February. We will be going through the lessons together on Wednesday nights with Pastor Zach and Gwen. Letters went out to those we have identified in those grades, if you don't receive a letter, please contact the office.
Boiler Project Update

The Church Council has approved a bid to replace our Boiler at the church. The accepted bid was from American Boiler and Mechanical out of Salina, Kansas. The total bid was for $79,992. The bid includes removing the current boiler and any asbestos abatement needed, a new high efficiency boiler, assemble boiler, pipe in water supply and connect existing piping and valves, wire in and start up boiler. The timeline for the installation is early spring. An anonymous donor has issued a challenge to fund this project. They will match dollar-for-dollar all gifts up to $20,000. That means, as soon as we have $20,000 in new gifts to the boiler replacement, it will double to $40,000.

If you would like to give to this project, please note on your gift “Boiler Fund” as you put it in the offering plate or drop it off with the office. You can also give to this fund through online giving, which can be found here. Thank you in advance for your support and prayers for this project!

Pastoral Care During COVID

We know that lots of adjustments have occurred with COVID being a part of our lives these days. Pastoral Care has been no different. However, that doesn't mean that it can't occur. If you would like the pastor to be in contact with you, pleas call the office to schedule a phone call or a Zoom session for pastoral care. Either of these options can easily be set up for you. Many times, same day appointments can be arranged. In rare situations, in person visits may be possible, but we will try to do most by phone or Zoom. Hopefully as vaccinations become more widespread in our community, more in person visits can begin. To schedule an appointment or for questions, please contact the church office.
Free Cloth Masks Available

Through a donation from United Methodist Communications, congregations were given a limited supply of cloth masks to be used during this time. Our congregation received 100 masks. If you would like one, they are available on Sunday during worship or can be picked up during office hours.
