Feeding Our Community
NMCS provides access to food through our weekly Food Pantry, in partnership with SF-Marin Food Bank, and through our on-site Student Food Program, which was recently featured on FOX2 KTVU: Hungry kids adapting to pandemic reality.
As members of VOAD (National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) and the Novato COVID-19 Outbreak Prevention Team, NMCS is well-mobilized to serve those most in need. We continue to help an increased number of people with basic human needs, and we’re serving more individuals and families that are unhoused. As always, your continued support of our work is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

North Marin Community Services has partnered with Novato Unified School District, City of Novato, Marin County District Attorney’s Office, and City of Novato for A More Just Novato for Racial Equity. This four session speaker series will be an honest examination of racial inequity with young adults from Novato as the featured panel presenters. They will be sharing their own experiences with microaggressions, intolerance and hatred. Click here for more information. The flyer is also available in Spanish here.
